Invitation to Join the Board of Directors
Design Team Collaboration
Alex Wissner-Gross,
I am reaching out to invite you into a strategic board and advisory role with Design Team Collaboration and the emerging Intl. Collaboration Centers initiative. Your work sits at a rare convergence point: physics, artificial intelligence, entropy, robotics, compute, entrepreneurship, and future-facing technical leadership.
That combination aligns directly with the next stage of our mission: building a global innovation infrastructure where youth, engineers, physicians, scientists, founders, investors, and philanthropic partners collaborate inside a disciplined, high-output ecosystem.
The objective is not simply to discuss innovation. The objective is to plant foundations—repeatable, scalable environments where advanced ideas can move from concept to prototype, from prototype to production, and from production to public benefit.
Through Design Team Collaboration, Machine Design Network, Intl. Collaboration Centers, Axiom Quantum, Luminary Compute, and the 911 Emergency Medical Informatics ecosystem, we are building a platform designed to connect research, technical development, education, philanthropic alignment, and commercialization.
Your participation would strengthen the theoretical and technical architecture behind that platform, especially in the areas where physics-based intelligence, embodied AI, robotics, high-performance compute, and education intersect.
I see an especially strong alignment in several areas:Physics and Entropy-Based Intelligence. Your work on intelligence as a physical and computational phenomenon provides a powerful framework for how autonomous systems, robotics, and decision engines can be designed to preserve optionality, expand solution space, and improve real-world outcomes.
Robotics and Physical AI: The Intl. Collaboration Centers will require leadership that understands the transition from digital intelligence into physical systems: robotics, autonomous laboratories, emergency response systems, manufacturing automation, and human-machine collaboration. Compute and Technical Infrastructure Axiom Quantum and Luminary Compute are being positioned as core infrastructure layers for advanced modeling, simulation, AI training environments, robotics control, emergency informatics, and next-generation research programs.
Cross-Species Communication and Biological Intelligence. One of the most compelling future-facing research lanes involves communication beyond the human interface: animal cognition, bioacoustic analysis, environmental sensing, swarm behavior, and the possibility of deeper interpretive systems between humans, machines, and living ecosystems.
Youth, Education, and Technical Leadership. A major part of this mission is to put students into proximity with elite builders. Youth participation will rotate through leadership discussions, research programs, prototype reviews, and philanthropic development tracks so that the next generation is not merely taught innovation but placed directly inside it.
Moonshot-Level Systems Thinking Your association with the Moonshots community reinforces the same principle that drives this initiative: the future is shaped by those willing to combine technical courage, capital alignment, and institutional design at scale.
We are selectively inviting a small number of high-caliber doctors, engineers, scientists, investors, educators, and consultants to help form the leadership core of this ecosystem. Your participation would bring a crucial layer of scientific rigor, technological imagination, and executive pattern recognition to the board.
The immediate ask is a strategic conversation regarding your potential involvement as a board member, senior advisor, or technical leadership partner across the Design Team Collaboration and Intl. Collaboration Centers platform.
This is the moment to align innovation with philanthropy, research with production, youth development with industry leadership, and moonshot thinking with real infrastructure. I believe your perspective would be exceptionally valuable in helping shape that foundation.
Strategic Alignment Bullet Points
1. Physics-Based AI LeadershipAlex can help frame the technical philosophy behind autonomous systems, robotics, AI decision logic, entropy-based optimization, and physical-world intelligence.
2. Robotics + Embodied IntelligenceHis background aligns with robotics, automation, telerobotics, and the transition from software intelligence into physical systems that act, sense, adapt, and collaborate.
3. Moonshot Ecosystem CredibilityHis connection to the Peter Diamandis / Moonshots ecosystem helps reinforce the ICC platform as a serious future-technology initiative rather than a conventional incubator.
4. Compute Infrastructure StrategyAxiom Quantum and Luminary Compute can benefit from his insight into AI scaling, training environments, simulation, high-performance compute, and technical investment priorities.
5. Youth + Education AccelerationHe is an ideal fit for elite youth exposure programs where students learn directly from world-class technical leaders in physics, AI, robotics, and entrepreneurship.
6. Cross-Species Communication Research LaneHis intelligence/physics perspective can help guide a serious research pathway involving animal communication, bioacoustics, biological intelligence, sensor networks, and AI-assisted interpretation.
7. Board-Level Scientific RigorHe strengthens the board with technical depth, credibility, and the ability to challenge shallow innovation claims while elevating truly breakthrough concepts.
8. Innovation & Philanthropic AlignmentHis involvement supports the larger thesis that innovation is philanthropy when it creates opportunity, jobs, research pathways, humanitarian tools, and scalable public benefit.
9. Commercialization Pattern RecognitionHis entrepreneur/investor profile fits the need for leaders who understand not only discovery but also defensibility, scalability, capital strategy, and market timing.
10. ICC Technical Leadership AnchorAlex could serve as a cornerstone technical advisor across robotics, AI, compute, education, autonomous systems, and moonshot research initiatives.
