ANODE+

The Power Synapse

 

A revolutionary electron-driven energy module, scalable from consumer electronics to grid-level storage.

 

ANODE+ introduces a breakthrough architecture in power systems by leveraging controlled electron beam transport in vacuum or gas-filled microchambers.

 

By deflecting rather than recombining electrons, ANODE+ fundamentally alters the energy pathway — extending battery longevity, increasing discharge control, and unlocking new modes of energy delivery.

 

Technologies

Electron Liberation and Transport

  • Thermionic, field, or photoemission-based electron release from miniaturized cathodes

  • Electric field acceleration and magnetic steering to direct electrons to kinetic reservoirs

  • Tunable beam emission modules enclosed in vacuum or noble-gas chambers

  • Energy Capture and Load Interface Electron beams are intercepted by a charge reservoir plate instead of direct recombination at the Positive Terminal

  • Load is powered between the electron reservoir and the Power Synapse to the ANODE+ Positive Terminal, enabling novel circuit topologies

  • Integration with a specific Thevenin equivalent circuit and PWM synchronization of the synapse

Physics Behind the Power

ANODE+ is inspired by the fundamental physics of: Cathode ray tubes and field emission displays

  • Lightning discharge behavior in atmospheric fields

  • Electron beam lithography and space-grade ion thrusters

  • Electrons in vacuum travel freely without resistance, enabling low-loss, high-speed energy transfer. The Power Synapse...

  • When deflected from a traditional anode, electrons retain kinetic energy, which ANODE+ reclaims through a collector-reservoir interface.

 

This open-ended electron routing shifts the core assumptions of electrical current design. Current flows through the circuitry towards the positive terminal, the Power Synapse occurs, and the electrons are diverted from depleting the Battery.

The subsequent Power Synapses are permitted to combine with the Positive Terminal depending on circuit current flow requirements.
